Heyo everyone!
Here is the last post on my NES project, I posted links to all the steps and a link to a video on YouTube if you'd like to check that out. The project was super fun and would love to make more stuff. I need to give my Dad a huge shout out for all the help. This probably would have turned out like a complete wreck without him. Anyways here is one final shot of the completed table with glass and all.
Thanks for following along!
Can you give us a link to the toggle switches that your dad provided for the buttons? It'd be nice to be able to find them and buy the right ones.
ReplyDeleteP.S. How well does it all work??

Im sorry, I could never find the exact ones to post a link to but ill post some options and hope that helps.
ReplyDeleteThe ones a have are a bit pricy since they are built for big C.A.T like trucks. My dad is a Heavy duty mechanic and happened to find a bunch laying around in the trash. So i did get them for free, but they would usually be pretty expensive.
You can find cheaper switches at Radioshack but i dont know how well or long they would hold up. Anyways, here are some options
This one is the most similar in shape that i could find. HERE
These ones will do the trick as well, they are heavy duty ones and that reflects in the price. HERE
And yes it actually works very well! i was impressed, there is no delay or anything.
I don't have words to describe how kick ass this is. You know, except for those words. So. Jealous.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much!
